This speed controller was specially developed for low-voltage electric motors. The main areas of application are: Continuously variable speed control of DC drills, model cars, windshield wiper motors and power tools. Due to the pulse width control, which operates at a frequency of approx. 20 kHz, the power loss remains low even at low speeds. By using a MOSFET transistor, the output current can be continuously adjusted from 0 to 5A with a potentiometer, while the electronics are protected in the event of a sudden blocking of the motor. The motor's adjustment range extends from complete standstill to maximum speed.
